The 3rd pillar of the prevention logic is that men at risk can be identified. They are the men with Enlarged Prostate, ie, a gland volume exceeding 40 cc. In this landmark publication, men with prostates less than 40 cc in size were not at risk of AUR, whereas that risk increased substantially as prostate volume increased.
